Anime Con costume idea ...?

Well, I'm planning on going to the New York Anime Festival. And I wonder that since its a festival that can I cosplay? If yes, costumes, what they wear fit for a man. I would like to know a anime with short hair and glasses. Heck! the person might even a hat. I thought Light from Death Note but I want someone who takes the glasses. Be I dont care what hair color, it must, I just want someone who wears glasses and has short hair and / or a hat.
