Toph Cosplay

In Fong Toph Cosplay Help ...?
I plan to attend an anime convention at some point this year and can face it, I love dressing up! xP So decided I, I am going to build as Toph from "Avatar: The Last Airbender", not only because they have a cool character, but because I entitled to. (I am small, with black hair, like strikes, and an attitude. lol) Here is the dilemma: I have never seen a costume before. I do not know anything about sewing or crafts. My friend does not (sort of), so we are working together to make our costumes. I can not afford to BUY A $ 210 COSTUME, so please do not tell me to "just a buy. "What I need is a veteran cosplayer and / or someone who has made a Toph costume before see who is willing to help me. Someone I e-mail and to ask questions and help walk me through the process ... and ... stuff. > <I know that much seems to ask, but I thought I would anyway. Even if you any tips or hints you want to post here, which would certainly be appreciated, too. Thank you! ^ _ ^
They have gone to Cosplay.com! They need to register to write on forums, but I'm sure there are people who have experience in it, it would also help by equipping toph you will know how
