Cosplay Dilemma ?!?!?
I'm obsessed with anime, and I went to MetroCon this summer, but I did not cosplay. I'm going to a few conventions cosplay MetroCon until this year, and I want to, but I have a few problems: 1) I have absolutely no idea who would be on cosplay T_T 2) This my first time, cosplay, so I have no idea what to do, how to act is, etc. 3) good ... these two are the most important problems-_-I'm really hyper and crazy, most if the time (as something like a girl version of Naruto, but not as annoying) and another half the time I'm set as Tohru Honda from fruit. Hope that a bit of everything, you anime fans help! ^ _ ^ Link to picture of me: http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd200/AnimeLvr816/DSC04254.jpg
1. I agree with pass S. Take a character that you like. Also, most people I know tend to avoid wigs that this first cosplay, but if you're really into it get, make sure that a wig. Or wigs. Depends on how many costumes you're going for. But if you're a character in your area is to select either a popular character or a character from a favorite show or sell to you is close in personality. 2. When do for what to ... Try to act in character. I tend to, in one of three methods during con act: personality, differences in character (the character of the original personality changed to inside jokes and stereotypes are), and fangirl (where I drop the character completely and only squeaked through pretty amazing things and other people's) costumes. But yeah, studying up on the personality of the character and try to act a little like they a part of the time. Also study up on Poznan and (silly as that) it sounds in practice before a mirror. Could you also to the practice of "drop everything and show" that have good cosplayer. To make things fall fast, you keep things in hand and carry bags from the shoulder, not across your body. Noncosplaying If you have a friend with you, you can hold your order for all of con so you are not covered, and picked it up again. Just be sure you buy them something for their help. ^ ^ But yes. The average cosplayer can drop everything and ask, before I make on my camera. It's cool. Moreover, most cosplayers are are super cute, so if you are on a different character in your series (or if you like to see their costume / character), do not hesitate to go up to her and chat. Odds are that they are nothing against it, and you might even accept it. I have a ton of friends made of this. If you have no more questions, please send me a message. I can not think of anything else to add ...
