Who should I cosplay as?

Cosplayers What can I do? I pray briefly (preferred) or long skirts with lace, ribbons, slender at the waist, colorfull, Layers of fabric (something like http://www.cosmates.jp/shop/product_info/cp-43_78_89/pid-4705.html) and gothic appearance. The downside is that I do not know what anime character Dresses except Misa from Death Note. Why do not they vote? It is too vague at conventions like last year when Megacon.
