What makes a good / great cosplay?

Well, I was in a debate with my cousin in this matter. He believes that "good" cosplay a costume, the one great good attention to detail and materials. otherwise be considered. I agree that his statements up to the point where nothing else must be judged, "because I believe that the person in the cosplay should also look the part. For example, if you have a lean / athletic build character, you can use a fat / chubby / fluffy person cosplay as they "successfully"? I do not think so. My cousin thinks I am ignorant. I think I am a realist. Great cosplays aesthetically require people and costumes. The cosplayers in the second link are probably much more to the character than the cosplayer in the first link. Good materials and Details you enter more points on your cosplay, but you need some basic shares features in common with your character, if you want to cosplay him / her. If someone not like the character much at all attempts to cosplay, it would not have done as good as someone who looked a lot like the character. I assume that the face is not so important how your body because you could make-up, but I do not think that your cousin cosplay recognizes that it is not just about the quality of the costumes, it's about the possibility of a fictional character that they could take to look like in real life.
