Cosplay Katana Tutorial

Where can I find a manual for a cosplay Katana?
I've tried it already: I http://www.thetworivers.com/avatrix/sword/sword.htm by Break e-mail the guy who made the sword, and he said the foam would. He suggested, plywood, but I have not seen that a plant for the cutting of shapes, and I'm not nearly the experience with wood, anyway. I am trying to make a Sode no Shirayuki (Kuchiki Rukia Sword) from Bleach, so if someone is a tutorial for the individual sword that would be very helpful. Thanks! It will not break with a small sword? That's why I did not want to each other tutorial. And no, I do not want the big book. I just want a normal size katana.
I do not know have another tutorial (for this type of sword is if a giant those about which you speak), but during the work (I am a framer) I had this stuff called "gator foam". It is thicker than regular foam board, and has a hard "crust" on both sides so it is very stiff. Here's a site for them: http://www.artsupply.com/foamcore/gatorboard.htm The premiums have it that it is still light, but strong, and can be easier to cut than wood. But it is much stiffer than regular foam board, you must be very be careful when cutting it because it is quite difficult to work in this way, if you're not used to it. You can use a knife for it, but make sure It is very sharp and it is on a proper cutting surface.
