How do you make clothes?
So I want at an upcoming convention cosplay. It is not until October, and I wanted to start early. I know you can use them together, and clothes like a puzzle piece or commission. I would like to at least try, and from the ground up with fabric and sewing. I have some knowledge of sewing. I have a class in the 7th Class, and I took some (crappy) plushies. The first thing is to refer to pics .. get? So You shall measure: (already measurements), waist, height, chest and hips. So you just cut a design pattern, which on the fabric, right? That is the part I am confused about. How would you do it the right size? I will (try to) make a Lolita-dress. Help is HIGHLY appreciated. Sorry for too many details. goto your local fabric store and look in the books in the vicinity of the pattern, if you have a dress that is close to or equal to the Lolita Dress write the model number off and get the pattern from the Search drawers ... Make sure you take the correct number and size! the sample bag will tell you how much fabric you need and thread / ornaments. They maybe you can ask the women who work in the material - tell them what you are trying to do, and they will help you what you need. SMILE!
