Cosplay help?
sakura for this year's Con in Seattle than I am of Avatar The Last Airbender katara in her new outfit Fire Nation. but I am as clueless on how they make their gold wrist guards or bands (whatever you call them) who goes from her wrist to her elbow. Does anyone have any ideas or experience? I thought paper mache, but I do not strong enough or look good.
I want to get gold spandex, so they are easy to can tear. Take a pipe with a quarter-inch hem at the top and bottom, and you can see the lines with fabric paints to draw. Or, if you get a realistic look some gold satin blanket with a thin piece of felt want in between, then make your tubes. It will not be stretchy, but it will look real ..
