Anime Convention Cosplay

(I NEED reply before 20 February), when I was a costume, bring an anime convention do i hav to cosplay?
I would like, if a costume, a Anime convention, but when i do i hav to cosplay, I wonder cuz i hav stage fright and I want to embarrass myself, and I just want to hav fun and NOT COSPLAY!
You can dress and act like you want, whatever you feel comfortable. The people there are all very fun and acceptance of others.
