Good cosplays for me?

I have seen all the fantastic cosplays too, hello zombie like from cosplay.com: http://www.cosplay.com/member/70719/ but I want to do a really good cosplay like that. I can understand the time and money in a real good cosplay made, but I think the clincher is that I do not look aniy characters in the face. This belief cosplayers looked like the belief in the face, but who can I get out? It can be video game, cartoon or anime / manga characters. Any ideas?
