2010 Cosplay Conventions

2010 Cosplay Conventions
Costume for an anime convention?

ok my friend whats going to con 2010 as a so-called V for Vendetta. Is it ok to him at an anime convention cosplay? I think it would be ok, because this year I saw a jedi and that's not anime, but it is still ok?

Hey there. I am an employee at an anime convention Cosplayers and me. Your friend can dress as whatever you want! Technically it's not as if there is a law that you must leave a forced anime cosplay or to: p Non-anime cosplays are very common. Since there are tons of fan conventions, not only centered around anime, cosplay now includes everything! (Well, anime costumes were modified I assume, since film cosplays have been borne before even popular anime) Popular cosplays are not from anime movie character (Tomb Raider, V for Vendetta, Star Wars, LotR, etc.) Books (Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, etc.), comic books (Spiderman, XMen, guards, etc.), other TV shows (I watch Myth Busters costumes!) And Of course video games. Cosplay is a fun way to your love for the characters to express no matter if they come from!
